How entry fee refunds work.

Entry fees pay for processing, administration, and review preparation. Please check the rules, category, media, and disclosure before paying.

General position

Entry fees are generally non-refundable once an entry has been submitted and payment has been processed. This is because administration starts as soon as the entry record is created and prepared for review.

Submitting the same work to more than one category creates separate paid entries. Each category entry is charged separately.

When a refund may be available

We may refund a verified duplicate payment, a payment taken because of a technical error, or an entry fee for a category cancelled by the awards without a reasonable alternative.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under applicable consumer or payment law.

When a refund is unlikely

Refunds are unlikely where an entrant changes their mind, misses the deadline, submits inaccessible media, provides inaccurate information, lacks rights to the work, or is disqualified for breaching the rules.

Use the contact page and include your entry reference, payment email, and a short explanation. We may ask for extra information before deciding.
